Sage Rosenfels Out For The Year

I realize this has no fantasy impact, but did anyone see the play where he got hurt? Houston tried a long field goal, the Jets attempted to return it ala the Chicago Bears, and Rosenfels, who is the holder, made a very nice open field tackle, breaking his thumb in the process.

Afterwards on the sidelines, Rosenfels told the coaches that he was OK and was available if needed, it was only on Monday I think that they discovered his thumb was broken and he's done for the year.

Between that tackle and then being ready to go back in afterwards, it looks like Rosenfels is a pretty tough SOB, especially as backup quarterbacks go. :D

Is he tough, or dumb as a bag of hammers? How's he going to grip the ball without a functional thumb? :D

He went to my small town High School so I will say dumb. :D He actually took out a saftey for the Saints a few years ago...knocked him out for the season...I can't remember who that was.
