DrSpade
This kid had a nice game for the Browns last week, but has been up and down during the year. Anyone know if he has earned more playing time or was last week a one time event? With KC comming to town I was thinking of using him this week over Morrison who has been down the last three weeks. Thanks in advance for any response and good luck on this weekend's games.
scuba chuck
Over Kirk Morrison?
DrSpade
Over Kirk Morrison? Only in weeks 2, 8, and 9 has Kirk Morrison scored 10 or more points. In weeks 10, 11, and 12 he scored 7, 5, and 6 points respectively. If someone can consistantly put up 10 or more it would a nice upgrade. Jackson has only had one week with more than 10 points (week 12). If this becomes a weekly event for him, then yes over Morrison, but if it is a one time event, I will keep looking. AtomicCEO
When I'm trying to decide something like this I look at this sort of stat readout. It shows all the LBs on Cleveland and how much they scored week by week. Your league scoring may vary. Earlier in the season, they were replacing D'Qwell with Chaun Thompson in some situations, but they clearly aren't doing that anymore. If his biggest games were coming at the expense of someone else, I would think that it was due to him getting more playing time... and that maybe he would be a solid start every week from here on out. But he's not. In reality, his biggest games are coming when all the other LBs are also having big games. His big scoring weeks have been losses to teams that run the ball well. So, you'll just have to try to pick the games against teams that are running a lot to try to start him at the right time. Fortunately, this week against KC is a game where they will probably be getting beat by a team that runs the ball well... so start him in week 13 with relative confidence! It's so strange looking at the differences in scoring leagues. I have Kirk scoring more pionts in weeks 4 & 5 than in week 2. Well, there is always some merit in the Janet Jackson way of thinking.
