dabuffbills
probably the next time he steps on the field he didn't play because they didn't really need him to beat San Fran
daboz
probably the next time he steps on the field he didn't play because they didn't really need him to beat San Fran OK so what makes you think that he didn't play because he was hurt. Last week not yesterday but last Sun he was seen suited up and running routes but he didn't play. Do you really think he will play in Dallas,,, cause I agree they'll probably need him to win. devilwoman
Colston will play because...........well because I needed him this week in my FF playoff so for sure he will play next week and have a hugh game...figures...besides they will need him because I think Horn hurt that groin again... Man the Saints are going to peak at the right time...Bush has a great game and will continue to cook next week as well. Dallas vs. Saints will be a fun game to watch!!! dabuffbills
OK so what makes you think that he didn't play because he was hurt. Even though he didn't practice a whole lot with the team, he said he could have pushed himself through it if he had to. They just wanted to rest him some more. If the Saints desperetely needed him, he probably could have played.
lkirc
For what it is worth, I had a meeting in N.O. today and heard Bobby Hebert on his radio show speculating that Colston still wasn't going to be ready to play this weekend. I don't know what he based it on, but he said that Horn and Colston would be out. Horn has a torn hammy, not a strain. If anyone has inside info on the Saints, I would think the Cajun Cannon would. CaP'N GRuNGe
If Horn is out, does that mean Copper is worth a start?
rajncajn
I'm hearing that Colston's ankle may have been worse than originally let on. More of the high-ankle type. If that's true we probably will be without him for another week, possibly two. Horn I wouldn't expect back till possibly playoff time if at all. MrTed46
High ankle sprains suck. Even if he starts this week I MAY not plug him in. They take a while to heal and you really cant cut on it. To Add: And it will take 1 hit from Roy Williams to get him back on the sideline. dolphz
I don't think so. How can this not be a great opportunity for Copper? Starting against his former team, and with dal run D, NO will probably have to throw quite a bit. I would think he would be a great start! (Not that I have him and am tired of Greg Jennings non-production or anything..... )

Whiskey Pimp
I thought that Copper would be a great start in place of Horn just like Henderson is in place of Colston but after Horn left early last game Copper still didn't do anything. I realize Reggie got a lot of touches but I'm really thinking of starting Copper this week.
daboz
Sooooo,,, Maybe I'll be starting Henderson! Any Ideas about that! Thanks for all the input. I'm tied with another person in my division and the winner wins the Division. If one of the other two division winners drops their game I'm first seed. Needles to say I'm on the edge of my freakin seat here...

I realize Reggie got a lot of touches but I'm really thinking of starting Copper this week. Henderson didn't exactly set the world on fire this week either. Nobody did apart from Reggie, who will NOT be warming my bench this week. It might make sense to suit Colston up just to force the 'Boys to plan for him. rajncajn
LINK? Sorry, you'll have to take my word for it or sift through the threads at Saintsreport.com. Most of the info is coming off of local radio so I can say I know it's not just speculation. Some promising news is that Colston himself is saying that he thinks he can be ready by Sunday. But there is a big difference in believing he can be out there & actually doing it. Ultimately it's not his decision to make and seeing that the Saints already hold a 2 game lead on the division Payton may decide it's not worth the risk of re-injuring it, especially now that Joe Horn is looking to miss some signifigant time as well. Dr. Douche
Dallas sports radio station (1310) is reporting that he and Joe Horn will not play this week. I know it's not official and I cannot find a link. At best, I think he's doubtful.

Thanks for the info rajn, I'm glad I can sit on this and wait until game time to plug in Colston or Henderson depending on the situation... I think.
