FishFreak
Well Brad, at least you can say you won a Super Bowl. That's a hell of a lot more than most QB's accomplish. But c'mon, you're looking like 50 years old out there, you have NO arm strength and when was the last time you made a play? Thru 12 games he has 8 TD's and 14 INT's. Please just GO AWAY! Hugh 0ne
I'm a die hard Vikes fan. But after the last INT Johnson threw, I switched the channel. I could take no more. I've been calling for them to bench his ass for 4 weeks now, but no. For some ungodly reason, Childress has been hanging on Johnson's sack. I told myself that I would not watch another offensive snap for the rest of this season if Johnson was QB'ing. That didn't take long. I'm sorry Bollinger got hurt, that sucks, but this season is done, and they should be giving Jackson a look regardless. Let's see if the kid can play. Let's find out now, not next year. And I don't blame Johnson. He's doing the best he can, it just happens to suck. He's an overaged backup QB, no way in hell he should have been the starter in Minnesota, reagardless of the circumstances. How much do you want to bet that Big Brad is back starting at QB this week?

Hugh 0ne
As for the starting QB dilemma: Head coach Brad Childress did not say if Johnson's benching would carry over to Week 14. "I would really be remiss about making a decision about a starting quarterback a half-hour after a Sunday game. We usually make those decisions during the week," said Childress. KFFL. MikesVikes
Most of the time, I'm on the computer which is on the opposite wall from the TV during the second half of the games. I didn't turn around and watch the game until I heard Jackson was in the game. Bollinger isn't the answer either, imo.
MikesVikes
Childress better make the right decision or the team will be minus two Brads next season.
Big John
Is Jackson capable of being a starter at this point? This would be the the best bet for now.

When asked if he was ready to assume a starting role, his answer was, "not really." How do you not say "hell yes" even if its a bluff? SeductiveNun
When asked if he was ready to assume a starting role, his answer was, "not really." How do you not say "hell yes" even if its a bluff? Maybe he was referring to his knee, and not his understanding of the playbook? In an unrelated story, 2 crates of Jack Daniels were delivered to Winter Park this morning. Observers also claim that Tommy Kramer has been seen in the Twin Cities area. Coincidence? FishFreak
Isn't Jackson supposed to be the Vikings future? If so, then they need to play him and see what he's got. Otherwise, go hard after Matt Schaub but it will cost the Vikes a 1st rounder.

I remember back in 90-92 (foggy memory those years are) when I was going to college in Mankato, it was either Kramer or wisky Wade Wilson that hit one of the cement pylons while leaving the McDonalds drive through and got a D-dub out of the deal. One of the funniest things I've seen!!!!!

Randall
Is Jackson capable of being a starter at this point? This would be the the best bet for now. If they do start him will they do more damage than good? Maybe not as they play Detroit and then the Jets.

And what are the odds. I was at Mankato State that same time as well.
