rebdog
he was coming on in his last game before he got hurt. now he's bounced back and had a good game this weekend. i'm thinking Houston could be the man for the Jets the rest of the way and hopefully into next year. i drafted him late and it was disappointing when he got hurt. he seems like a tough runner. Anyone see much of their game yesterday? Edited December 4, 2006 by rebdog
Rovers
I was and remain a big Houston fan, at least as compared to Barlow. He's tough as an inside runner, and has the speed to get outside, but isn't very elusive. I think he's pretty good when paired up with Leon Washington in a 3/2 sort of split when the Jets run. I don't think he's ever be a good every down RB, but a solid quasi-RBBC guy. He likes to be a bruiser though, and I'm not sure he can hold up trying to run over people for a 16 game season. Just guessing, I think the Jets will cut Blaylock and Barlow, and draft another RB in the second to fourth round in the next draft. For this year, and maybe next, I see Houston and Washington splitting time the way they did against GB yesterday.
