Sigalf03
I heard that and thought what a dumb a$$ but if you think about it, while a stupid pick before the season started, Westbrook is a top 10, top 5 in some leagues, RB. So really, not that bad of a move But all that aside, the guy is a flaming re mustard Edited December 5, 2006 by Sigalf03

Glabra
What exactly is his contribution to the telecast? Precisely zilch. ESPN has made MNF a complete joke. An insult to avid football fans in this country.
WorstCoachingEver
So really, not that bad of a move It depends on when he took him. If it was in fact 1st overall, he's a complete returd for passing on LJ and LT2 irregardless of Westy's production this far. WorstCoachingEver
ESPN has made MNF a complete joke. An insult to avid football fans in this country. I'm still hoping they bring back the "B Team" from Week 1: Griese, Vermeil, and Jaws. Wait, that's too illogical for ESPN! They have to have the cross promtion for PTI (another worthless production). WorstCoachingEver
The guy is stupid, but not that stupid I can't bring myself to believe that someone working for ESPN would take Westbrook #1 overall They are that stupid. The ESPN crew is the absolute worst in fantasy. Steve Young always takes Vick somewhere in the Top 2 Rounds every year. Suzy Kolber took Pitt D and Warner with the 2nd and 3rd round picks last year. ebartender
Westbrook is the #4 RB in all the leagues that I checked. Not bad for a 1st round pick. Would he have been better off with Ronnie Brown, Alexander, Cadillac, or Tiki? The only backs scoring more then Westbrook are Tomlinson, LJ, and S. Jackson. junebugz
Westbrook has more FF points than my first rounder (Tiki). +1 ... L Jordan He has helped his FF teams more than several players who went in the first round, especially in PPR leagues.
bark
i may be alone on this but i like cornheiser its theisman that i hate cornheisers suttle sarcasim is great and he has mad theisman look stupid on severala occasions and that alone makes him entertaining to me lets not forget entertainment is one of the reasons to watch football there is a such thing as over analyzing side point kornheiser is a pretty smart guy when it comes to football and sports in general let us not forget he has been a very well respected journalist for many years all that being said many times it does seem forced but i think its more of having three people in the booth as far as picking westbrook 1st round as been stated in earlier post it probally paid of better tahn many peoples 1st round picks
WorstCoachingEver
He has helped his FF teams more than several players who went in the first round, especially in PPR leagues. But what happens when he gets hurt tonight (he already hurt his toe) or in the next few weeks and it costs your team? There's a reason why he went in the 2nd round. Not b/c of his potential (everyone knows he's great when healthy), it was because of his durability issues.

Ever heard of Shaun Alexander or Lamont Jordan? Durability my ass, injuries in the NFL are a total crapshoot.

Steve Young always takes Vick somewhere in the Top 2 Rounds every year. Suzy Kolber took Pitt D and Warner with the 2nd and 3rd round picks last year. i was in a league for three years with a bunch of newspaper sportswriters. you'd think they'd be knowledgeable about sports, but they were awful. i won the league two years in a row and lost in the super bowl the third year. i've had more fun in leagues where i haven't done nearly as well but where the owners actually have a clue. Ursa Majoris
Westbrook just won me two games with his effort tonight and I was only 1.5 points shy of a third win. The guy is great, easily the #4 (maybe #3) back in the league.
Seahawks21
On top of his incredible value in PPR leagues, he's like the most fun guy to own in the whole league. The guy is just so fun to watch, I can't imagine not having him (if I couldn't have LJ or LT of course).
lkirc
This guy is a complete idiot!!!!! Was he in a 20 team league to justify that? I took Westy at number 10 and haven't regretted it all season. My league scoring greatly favors RBs that catch passes, but even if it didn't, my other choices at that spot were Cadillac, Jordan, Rudi and the like. I think Westy is the fourth ranked RB in my league.
