He has Palmer, LJ, and Westbrook as his core. I am 2 games up, but he is close to me in points and averaging more than me over the last 6 games. If we tie it will come down to points. rebdog Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 i've had my best year to date....after 13 years of this stuff. finished 10 &3. #1 in power ranking and points. got the #2 seed. have a bye this week. and have good matchups in week #15 for my best players. of course, it only takes one bad week....or one good week for your opponent. i could use the cash. every year there's more kids to buy Christmas gifts for. Rockerbraves Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 2nd overall in one league. I'm choking down the stretch in my other league. Held a 2 game divsional lead with 3 to play. Now I hold a 1 game league with one to play and my team loses all tie-breakers. Just as soon not make the playoffs with this team since it's probably in around 8th out of 12 teams in points scored this season. Thank goodness my division sucks. I'm the #1 seed in 2, the #2 seed in 3, and inched in the other 3. I only had three teams that were out of contention for the playoffs, and one of those I did not draft, but rather took over for an owner that quit the league. Another of my teams that was out of contention was a dynasty team in it's second year. It was my first try at an auction, and I failed miserably last year, and am rebuilding this year. Team is on a bye (nice) so I will have two shots to finish in the money. Payouts for 3 places. Second League ($$): Currently #4 seed with one week to go. 9-4 record. Most Points For by far and also Most Points Against. Division leader has same record as me but has the tiebreak. If I win and he loses, I jump to #2 seed and a first round bye. Payouts for 4 places and season top 3 point totals. Third League: Currently #1 seed with one week to go. 9-3-1 record (don't understand why we can use fractional points). Only 4 teams make it and there are no first-round byes. I'll be happy to breakeven but I have a good shot to actually come out ahead at the end of the year. cdrudge Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 League 1:Clenched playoff spot (9-4, 3rd overall) last week for playoffs starting next week League 2: 5-way tie for the 4 remaining wildcard spots at 7-6 with playoffs starting next week. League 3: Not a chance in heck. I'm something like 3-10. I just had really bad luck with my team in this league. Pre-season, I looked like I had a great team but they all have been underperforming. League 4: I'm 2 games up but our playoffs don't start until the NFL postseason so we have another 4 weeks. I must win 2 of the next 4 and my closest competition loses at least 1 game in order to clench. I must clench a division win as my total points (first tie breaker) trails about half the league and I probably wouldn't win the tiebreaker. NAUgrad Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 3 leagues. 1st - A keeper league that I'm kicking ass in. Will probably never have a better team than this years. Have broken records in highest points, highest avg. points per game, and power ranking (whatever the hell that is, and I don't care because I'm #1 with it). I haven't, however, wrapped up the #1 seed as of yet so I need a win this week. 2nd - Fighting for my playoff life this week. Basically if I win I'm in, and if I lose I'm out. My team is running out of gas, but I have a good chance of winning this week. 3rd - Dynasty auction league where I'm dead last. Went into free agency with LT, Portis, S. Smith and came out with only S. Smith. Just don't have enough starting talent to compete this year and I knew it before the season started. Next year looks much better as I now have Colston, Jacobs, Maroney, D. Williams, and Norwood for cheap. So I'll also be able to go after a couple of free agents. Missed the playoffs in my third league in which I am 2nd in the league in points scored. I am no worse than 2nd in total points in all three of my leagues. So Im actually having an epic season (which guarantees week 15 flameouts for sure in both of them). My team in my big money league is the one below. It might be the best team ive ever had. I've tried to get Week 17 eliminated and just do some high score type cash that week, but it has always failed to pass. I suppose you can see our Week 17 is our playoff week because it is a positional week (#1 plays against #2, #3 plays against #4, etc.). I am up one in my local with highest points to date. There is an owner who is currently sixth (eight team league) but has really been coming on strong the past couple weeks and I face him this week. Likely 1st seed in one, 2nd seed in another, 3rd seed in a third and sixth seed in the last two. Oddly enough, it's one of these last two that I'm most confident of winning the SB.
