Bier Meister Posted December 12, 2006 Share Posted December 12, 2006 c'mon Bier you know the shortening is changed every three days and the oil is filtered twice a day--yeah right the restaurants i've worked in changed oil every 2nd or 3rd night, but at least filtered daily. 2 places changed it daily... but we didn't fry as much as a fast food place or a pub for that matter. so the oil is pretty fresh. Scare Tactics Posted December 12, 2006 Author Share Posted December 12, 2006 Ok, well thanks for all the input, 1st off im going to try the Trader Joes sticks & bake em, after that i will try using a pot with some oil and frying the sticks that way, and as the last ditch effort for at home perfection of Mozz. sticks I will get a cheapy deep frier...
