aterry1979
Chargers are 11-2 and battling for 1st seed in the afc. Now the question is, do you think Chargers will sit out Tomlinson week 16 and 17 nd save them for the divisional playoffs? If they win this week against KC, then its something to think about since the rest of their regular season schedule are easy(Banged up Seattle and Arizona). I surely hope so since my brother has him and in the playoffs Edited December 14, 2006 by aterry1979

WorstCoachingEver
No. Unless they want to lose a game and thus the #1 seed to Baltimore or Indy on tiebreaker. Edited December 14, 2006 by WorstCoachingEver

aterry1979
Why, do you play him in the final next week... I want him out of the playoff picture in my league. Hes the only true threat right now.

This is the exact same thing I heard from a guy in my local who is the #1 seed and could face LT next week in the final...just keep telling yourselves that if it makes you feel better... Didn't LT's owner lose last week in at least one league? LJ's owner lost too. Sure makes coming off a bye easier.
Todd1
The better question is who is his backup if he does sit? Is Turner healed yet and if not, who would be the #2?
Gunther
The better question is who is his backup if he does sit? Is Turner healed yet and if not, who would be the #2? I posted this in another thread...but here it is again... Turner should be back If he’d had to, running back Michael Turner could have most likely played Sunday, but Schottenheimer decided to give him another week to fully heal from his hamstring injury that has kept him inactive the last three weeks. “I just felt that it was important for us to have him at 100 percent rather than putting him back at 85 or 90 percent and running the risk of aggravating that thing,” Schottenheimer said. “Then we’re running the risk of three or four weeks. I think most of you know I tend to err to caution when it comes to player injuries.” Schottenheimer “fully expects (Turner) to be active this week.” The coach also said that he’ll wait until later in the week to decide who will return kickoffs if Turner is available. Scooby
No benching LT, they have a 1st round bye and home-field adv to play for--a very nice fringe benefit from playing all 16 games "guns a blazin." Plus it seems that Shotty wants nothing more than to see his beloved RB make the TD record forever out of reach. Why else would he let LT play last week in the final minutes w/ a hefty lead?
