Randall
He says the Eagles will run the table and go deep into the playoffs(no surprise there-homer speech). He also said Marcus McNeill OT will be ROY.

The Next Generation
Deep into the playoffs with Garcia? I think "running the table" is the more outrageous part. I mean, that is the KILLER part of their schedule, right? IF they were to win-out, I think they would go deep into the playoffs, why not? They would be division champs afterall. But, they won't win out...will they? It's unpossible! Edited December 15, 2006 by The Next Generation

The Next Generation
I thought the McNeil for ROY was the most shocking, myself. True, I was referring just to the Eagles prediction, though. I haven't heard anyone but him even suggest McNeil (though it is interesting).

pseudolefty
Good to see Marcus McNeil getting some recongition. He's been a stud on the Chargers OLine all year, and at the all-important Left Tackle position. Mark Schlereth also cited McNeil as top offsensive rookie on NFL Live yesterday, so that makes two ESPN analysts who regcognized McNeil. Despite the accolades, I don't think a guy on the OLine will win OROY. It's gotta be one of the big three: Colston, Vince Young, or Reggie Bush. Addai and Maroney would be honorable mentions as would be D'Brick and Mangold on the Jets OLine. This year's rookie class has been very productive. Randall
I thought the McNeil for ROY was the most shocking, myself. Me too. This year we have some great ROY candidates. Ryans, VY, Colston, Jones-Drew, Maroney, Addai even Jennings if he has a strong run.

giantsfan
Not for nothing but how can anyone respect this guys opinions? They are SO biased it's ridiculous. You want to say hey Philly can make the playoffs, okay. But come on go deep as well. This guy is a joke. Basically he is solid when speaking on all other teams so take what he says on Philly and throw it out 100000% and the you should be okay respecting his opinion. He probably says these things to stimulate discussion(or argument). Kind of like the commercials designed to irritate. Advertisers knew when they got you pissed off about the commercial you would remember the product. Maybe they want you to tune and see what other outrageous prediction they make? Oh very true and yes many sports casters say somewhat outrageous things to generate discussion so I'm sure that plays in. And if Jaws did that from time to time about a lot of teams or subjects okay. But he does it ALL the time with Philly. Hard to watch him discuss Philly in any way anymore. He does it every week with them. I just can't take it anymore. And to be honest I think at some point he starts to lose credibility as a whole. Edited December 15, 2006 by giantsfan
Flyeaglesfly
I agree with JAWS! &&&&&& The Sixers will win the championship w/o Iverson and led by Dr. J The Flyers will win the Stanley Cup w/o Foresberg and led by Ron Hextall The Phillies will win the World Series w/o Howard and led by M. Schmidt Jaws shut up!
McBoog
Don't be surprised if McNeil actually wins ROY! He has been one of the BEST Tackles overall in the NFL this year. He needed very little help in the beginning and has dominated some of the best pass rushers this year, just ask Rivers. He has been a terror in the run game as well, just ask LT. He has truly been one of the unsung heroes of this Charger's season. He has supplanted Oben as the starter, even though Oben is healthy and ready to return to the starting line-up! O-line is not the flashy, headline position that gets the sexy press, but if you want a rookie that has performed at a veteran level, ALL SEASON, in the hardest and most important position on the O-line, Marcus deserves as much consideration as anyone else! junebugz
hardly ever does a team win out the last few games and then race through the play-offs ... i mean it only happens like every 40 years or so right?
