Liverlips
I've heard that the Arrowhead crowd can get pretty wild. Anyway KC can slow down SD and pull out a victory. Prime tie and motivation from Lamar Hunt dying. Sounds like one of those story lines. " let's do it for Lamar!"
splotchman
I think SD win a close game. Also, there is no home advantage for the Chiefs.... game is in San Diego.

Chief Dick
I don't think the Chiefs have a prayer of winning this game. Chiefs are going backwards: Chargers priming for a deep playoff run. This is gonna be a blowout: something in the 35-14 range for the Chargers.

Not sure I believe it, but figured what the hell, will be fun if they actually pull it off. But really I just care about Larry Johnson scoring however many TDs he can muster today. Be cool to read a headline: "Larry Johnson runs for 5 TDs with tears in his eyes for Lamar". Hey, you never know.
Chadman
I think the Chiefs rookie essentially calling out the Chargers, and LT making a pretty big issue out of it probably offsets the emotional tone of the Chiefs on the road here. I listened to a lot of Chiefs/KC radio last weekend, and sounds like when they lost to the Browns, it really took a lot out of the team. They played like it last week, too. I just don't see them making a big improvement, despite the motivation of the Hunt situation. I think many of todays' players - on all teams - could give a crap less about anybody but themselves. Herm probably will play that factor up as much as anyone could, though.
rattsass
Chiefs fan checking in here. Yes, the Chiefs have a chance of winning this game. If Tomlinson fumbles twice and Rivers throws a couple of picks, the Chiefs could squeak out a victory. Chances of that happening? About 1 in 100. I have watched the spread for this game go from an open of 11 I think, all the way down to 8. There seems to be a lot of money coming in on the Chiefs. But I just don't see it. The Chargers should have little trouble dispatching the Chiefs today at San Diego. Edited December 17, 2006 by rattsass
