claytkt
May be wishful thinking, but anyone think Turner could get a few more carries next week? Especially if the Colts lose tomorrow night. I know next week is still a must win for home field throughout the playoffs but again I'm just curious if anyone thinks LT may have a limited workload. If the coach is smart he would. But this is the NFL and it's often frowned upon to sit studs despite many in here not thinking the NFL is mainly about entertainment. Akfatha
keep in mind ravens are one game behind SD, and also have tiebreaker over SD, so if they both end up with the same records, baltimore gets homefield through instead of SD. marty knows this. DMD
Exactly - SD cannot rest on their record and playing in SEA next week is not a gimmee game either. If he rested LT, he would be doing it for 3 weeks and there is no need to get him "cooled off". I would guess LT plays the full game here and in week 17 until such time it is obvious that SD will beat ARZ.
Azazello1313
week 17....maybe LT rests a bit if everything is wrapped up. week 16....giddyup.

Concur. And LT knows this too. As DMD says, LT is "hot" now and he'll want to keep that momentum and rhythm going with the OLine right into the playofs. Plus, LT still wants to get the rushing title and he'll be opening the door to LJ and Gore if he lets up now. He's gonna continue to roll and the Seahawks rush D hasn't been all that great, so watch out!
skylive5
.....and the Seahawks rush D hasn't been all that great, so watch out! A team has to have a rush D before one can talk about it. Tomlinson should have a beautiful day against a non-existent Seattle D. In fact... he should have such a day that he would have the rushing title all sewed up and not need to play much week 17 other than to keep in shape. Though I don't see how he could pass up running against the AZ D too.
