Rockerbraves
Just heard Ditka on the Mike & Mike show say no way would he put up with TO. He admitted that Parcell's hands are tied somewhat but at some point Parcell needs to just tell TO that the Cowboys are better off without you. Ditka believes the Cowboys have too much history of being a class act to put up with this guy.

At no point did he say that Parcells "needs to tell T.O that the Cowboys are better off without you". He did say that he would tell TO that if he was the coach. He also pointed out that he was in no way knocking Parcells for the way he's handling anything. If you're gonna start a thread on something like this, maybe you should'nt inject thoughts or feelings that you have and say that Ditka or anyone else said them. Nice title too. When in the interview did Ditka call Parcells a "Puss" or even insinuate that he felt that way? Moran.

Rockerbraves
The Cowboys stopped being a class act the day Jerry Jones bought them. Not sure what you are talking about. The Troy Aikman and Everett Smith era teams seemed very professional despite perhaps their coaches lack of class.
whomper
It wasnt on the same level but Ditka had his hands full as well with McMahon too..When you have a player thats a Major tool Like TO you deal with it best you can and then either get rid of him or Ice him like the Eagles did..The guy is hopeless..If Dallas didnt make the switch to Romo and start winning TO wouldve been 10 times worse..Parcells has handled him well and the team is still winning but he just cant help being a distraction and a tool winning or not..The guy is sad..I still feel Dallas has handled him well in the sense that although its a headache for Parcells Dallas isnt really taking the bait..They seem to go about their business while the circus continues Edited December 18, 2006 by whomper

When he said Parcells is a better man than me, he meant he wouldn't ut up with that crap. Did you happen to hear what he said if TO spit on him? Ditka said he would have been waiting outside the locker room and either he or TO would have been taken a beating. As far as the title of the thread I think it's appropriately titled. Little doubt Parcell has lost his manhood lately.

The fact that Parcells approaches TO with the attitude that TO is not as important as everyone makes him out to be is the perfect way to handle him..You give him the attention he desires and your done. And I did hear what Ditka said about waiting outside the lockerroom. As a matter of fact I heard it yesterday and I respected him for saying that b/c I would have done the same thing. Not sure how Parcells has "lost his manhood lately" and the thread title is ridiculous.

Rockerbraves
Sure, Big nate Newton...Michael Irvin, real class acts. Not that up to date with Newton's past history, but not everyone hates Irvin as much as you might think. But getting back to Parcell it's been mentioned before that he has or is going thru a costly divorce and really needs the paycheck. It has been quite apparent all year he is a puss compared to the old Parcell.

I'm sure he can't remember Jerry Jones classless treatment of Landry. Heck, he might not even know who Landry is

All Ditka was saying is he can't understand how a man like Parcell can put up with this guy. Sort of like telling your friend he's pu$$y whipped. Everyone else sees it but him.
