whomper
Well my dream season just went in the crapper and it got me thinking..If you are going to lose..Do you prefer to get it over with quick ? Like a first drive or first quarter loss..Or do you prefer to hang on as long as possible ? This poll applies to if your game is still in question going into monday night. isleseeya
no doubt at all for me ..if i am going to lose , let me get hammered early , have no chance and reflect on my season ...do not want to deal with gut wrenching loss or a losing at the end by a small margin
HowboutthemCowboys
like a band-aid, just get it over with already. Unfortunately for me, it usually happens late in the 4th quarter.
jaxfactor
Without a doubt early. I play in a league with both IDPs and I Special Teams players. I was actually tied with my opponent when Chicago was playing the Cards earlier this year. I was worried about Berrian the whole game and the Cards had to punt. I was thinking "one last drive to worry about Berrian" when lo and behold, all-world return man Devin Hester(who my opponent also had) returned the freekin' punt for a TD. 3 lousy minutes left in the game!! Retrograde assault
a quick death is always better than the slow agonizing one.
Gunther
a quick death is always better than the slow agonizing one. Â Wurd, I also like to lose by enough of a margin that I don't do the "woulda, shoulda, coulda...".

i'm still reliving last week: i'm up by four points. with 7 minutes left in the bears-rams game last monday, devin hester returns the kick for the TD. i still had a chance to win if the rams could've scored at the end (he had the bears' D and would've lost points with a rams TD), but they didn't. it was excruciating. i lost my playoff game, and, even worse, the guy who beat me got killed this week. Roller Coasters
I'm still reliving the semi-final loss from last year, when the Bears just had to run out the clock to preserve the win over the Falcons. The fail to get a first down. Vick then gets to run another play. He ran for 29 yards and I last by 1.5 points because of the totally meaningless last play by Vick. twiley
Quick loss. I'm down by less than half a point right now and every pass not thrown to Wayne is killing me.
