STL Fan
It's possible to have as many as 12 or 13 legitimate road picks out of 16 games this week. Is that as crazy as it seems to me? The old adage of favoring home teams in no-spread pools looks like it won't work this week: Minnesota 12/21/2006 8:00:00 PM Green Bay Kansas City 12/23/2006 8:00:00 PM Oakland Baltimore 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM Pittsburgh Carolina 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM Atlanta Chicago 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM Detroit Indianapolis 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM Houston New Orleans 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM NY Giants New England 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM Jacksonville Tampa Bay 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM Cleveland Tennessee 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM Buffalo Washington 12/24/2006 1:00:00 PM St Louis Arizona 12/24/2006 4:05:00 PM San Francisco Cincinnati 12/24/2006 4:15:00 PM Denver San Diego 12/24/2006 4:15:00 PM Seattle Philadelphia 12/25/2006 5:00:00 PM Dallas NY Jets 12/25/2006 8:30:00 PM Miami Total Points Scored for: NY Jets @ Miami

STL Fan
Exactly. You COULD have as many as 12 or so road teams in a pool this week. That would have been unheard of in the past, where if the spread was under 3, you took the home team straight up in a pool every time. Are teams getting better at playing on the road with silent counts and all, or is Pete Rozell's parity finally manifesting itself to that level?
