Here's a nuggett for all LT, Charger, and/or Drew Brees fans.

I've been curious as the season's progressed how LT and Drew Brees have viewed each others seasons from afar, and low and behold, NFL Network interviewed these guys yesterday in a video split-screen teleconference. These guys are great friends, class individuals, and true NFL role models. True to their character, there's no hesitation in either one of them when asked who'd they vote for MVP. LT says it's Drew Brees and Brees says it's LT.

Both those dudes are awesome. It's great to see guys play at their level and still be so humble about it. Even if I weren't a Saints fan I'd love to see them both get to the Superbowl this year and I keep wondering if there is any chance that they will select co-MVPs this year the way they did with Manning & McNair because I think they both are very deserving in their own right.

Brees is having a fine season and all...but if anyone is even close to Tomlinson in the Votings it is a joke.

I think Tomlinson will get it, but Drew is much more valuable to his team IMO that LT. He's also come the closest to breaking Marino's record since Warner in 01 and IMO would have if Horn & Colston hadn't gotten hurt. But the award is about much more than stats alone. I personally think that they both deserve the award for hteir own reasons and apparently a lot of other people think that as well.

Edited: it was Warner in 01, not Favre.
