Morrison should rack up plenty of tackles this week, while Merriman may only get a handful. He may, though, get a sack. From KFFL: Chargers | Merriman practices WednesdayWed, 20 Dec 2006 22:02:51 -0800 San Diego Chargers LB Shawne Merriman (shoulder) practiced Wednesday, Dec. 20, and should be fine for Week 16. He is listed as probable on the team's injury report Link: http://www.kffl.com/player/11223/nfl Actually, now that I look at it, Morrison only had 5 solos against KC in their first meeting this season. Merriman will play, and will be effective... so if you get a decent amount of points for sacks, perhaps taking the mild risk on Merriman will be what gets you over on your opponent. Good luck. Los Gigantes
It depends on two things: your scoring system and the rest of your and your opponent's lineups. Do you need a home run, or is a double sufficient? Morrisson is the lower risk, lower ceiling choice. If sacks and turnovers are scored highly enough, the upside makes up more and more for the risk of the strike out. The decision mostly rests on how many points you think you need out of the position to win.

If you can afford to play it safe Morrison has been pretty solid on his tackles. But again it all depends on your scoring for IDP.

Good luck. 3 points per sack. 1 pt. per tackle. This is what I'm projecting .... Merriman 5 tackles, 1 assist, 1 sack and 1 FF = 11.5 points Morrison 11 tackles, 4 assists = 13 points The thing about Shawne is that he can post HUGE numbers because he's so disruptive but if he doesn't create turnovers or get some sacks he could hurt me because he's not asked to do much as far as run support. Morrison should get me between 7-13 points. I just want to make sure that Merriman is going to play in a game that might not mean as much to them now. theprofessor
Thanks Guys. I think at this point I need a HOME RUN so I'm going to roll with Shawne. He plays the opposite side as Walter Jones, doesn't he?

Doesn't winning this game sew up the HFA throughout the playoffs for the Chargers? I would think they are going to have everyone they possibly can play this game! theprofessor
Thanks Guys. I went to the game today and Merriman had two sacks in the 1st quarter and ended up with 3! He should have recorded 3.5 sacks. Merriman got me 14.5 points and Morrison got me 7.5. I blew everybody out this week. I started Bulger, Rudi and Betts. CJ and Steve Smith laid eggs but I still outscored everyone by 40+ points!
