jaxfactor Posted December 22, 2006 Share Posted December 22, 2006 I'm a little depressed about one of my locals. Although the payout wasn't the greatest so that's a plus. I made a last minute decision in week one that cost me against the first seed. He proceeded to go 8-0-1. I then got revenge and gave him his first loss. Matched up in the semis again and I changed out the Steeler D for the Dolphins. That'll teach me. Should have rode the horse that got me there. If it weren't for 2 last minute changes, I'd be 3-0 against him and probably the #1 seed(an additional payout). At least I knocked him out 2 years ago when he was 13-1 and I was 7-7. I am the Bills of my league having lost 4 Super Bowls and having made the playoffs most years. This year, it hurts even worse. Steelers vs. Panthers......total Steeler homer but forced to start John Kasay due to inclement weather in Seattle on Thursday night......Kasay lines up for a 50 yard field goal when the game is still close......I boo, hiss, throw things at the TV.....and he MISSES......I cheer, but the fantasy owner in me says, "damn, that was 5 points he just cost me"........Steelers go on to win by many more than those measly 3 points......my fantasy team goes on to lose by 4 points.....Kasay hits it, I am champ, but he misses and I am the Bills again this year.
