Sitting Kitna against the Bears is a no brainer imo. To even consider it, would have been stupid. Their D played horrible and he got lucky. To suggest starting Kitna over the #3 FF QB in the league in Vick, is a reach, much the same as me starting LT over MJD. Snoil
Benched him too, but got away with it because I benched him for Vince Young.

Pope Flick
Sitting Kitna against the Bears is a no brainer imo. To even consider it, would have been stupid. Their D played horrible and he got lucky. I had a choice between Kitna and Carr, and as a Bears fan felt good because so much of their secondary was hurt and Kitna was at home: Hester's good, but not "able to cover Roy Williams good." Not really a hard one, if you thought about it. (although Carr as a #2 made it a little bit easier).
cre8tiff
My choice was Kitna or Romo. I'm secure that I made the right choice, Kitna just had "one of those games".
Scourge
I played Kitna in my Championship and lost. It was either him or Garrard as our FA/trade deadline is week 14 and there were no QBs left anyway.. Boldin, Edwards, Coles, Chester, Bills D = screwed
Easy n Dirty
I benched Kitna in my championship game, didn't mind the Bears matchup that much but lost faith when he failed to light up the Packers the previous week. Played Pennington instead, not terrible, and rode the right foot of Rian Lindell to the championship.
Bronco Billy
Benched Kitna for Garcia, just like I benched A Smith for Garcia 2 weeks ago. Garcia gave me a consistent 19+ pts for each the 3 weeks of playoffs. If I had started Kitna 2 weeks ago, I would have been knocked out of the playoffs, and if I would have started Smith this week I would have surrendered 12 pts. Sure, I lost pts 2 weeks ago on Smith's big day and I lost pts this week not starting Kitna, but Garcia was just a much safer situation than either. Consistency = championships.
