UCLA game was until a freakish stretch in the mid 4th. Not playing the "they should have won" card tossed around so often but you can't have watched that game if you're saying it wasn't close

I watched the entire game, and while the score was close until late, that doesn't mean FL.St didn't pounce on them the entire game, UCLA has NO D to let this horrible offense move up and down the field. Fl St, has a freaking TERRIBLE offense and couldn't muster 20 points all season except a rare game here or there. UCLA shut down USC, that says alot about the PAC 10 to me.

PAC 10 is flat out horrible this season, i see how they managed to beat up on each other, none are better then the next. Pathetic is the word for the conference this year, flat out pathetic. Losing games to horrible opponents that they should have handled easily, considering the hype that conference got on these boards.

You might have watched the game but, please, take off the Crimson and Gray glasses because they're obviously clouding your judgment. "FSU pounced on them the ENTIRE game"? What is that? :D UCLA was winning fairly convincingly throughout 2/3 of the game. The game and momentum turned when UCLA went for it on 4th and 1 in the middle of the third quarter, got the 1st down, but were penalized for 2 players moving with the snap. The subsequent punt was blocked and returned for a touchdown. The game changed at this point and FSU took advantage of the momentum swing. 2 defensive TD's and a questionable TD call on a 4th and 8 "Hail Mary" pass to Greg Carr later and the game was over for the Bruins. No excuses for the Pac-10. FSU deserved to win but for you to insinuate that FSU dominated the entire game? Get real.

You also SHOULD know (OSU-Michigan) the significance of Big Rivalry games and how the "underdog" normally responds with their best game of the year. Winning the SC-UCLA game is huge because California is the "hotbed" of High School Football talent and it will help Dorrell in his recruiting battle with Pete. Your statement "That UCLA shutting down SC say's alot about the Pac-10" shows that your focus is more on tearing down "The Conference" than it is to give an accurate assessment of the game(s).

Everyone wants to call me the Pac-10 Homer. If you want to annoint me with that Title, then I will proudly  accept. But, I have said all year long that the Pac-10 was not the best conference in College Football this year. The SEC was. I have watched enough college football this year to know how strong and competitive this league is. I also have been around long enough to know that The Pac-10 is and always has been the premier conference in all College sports and has had the BEST college football team the past 10 years in THE University of Southern California Trojans :bash: - Does anyone, outside of the West Coast, think that Carrol did another outstanding job this year with 15 freshman in the starting line-up? SC will continue to be a Top 3 team for years to come!!

Hope everyone had a Great Christmas! Now, it's time to enjoy the second best time of the year for sports viewing, next to March Madness. BTW, this Pac-10 homer picked Michigan to beat SC in the GrandDaddy of ALL bowl games. Perhaps, I'm not the one that is blinded by my allegiance to the .................

:D CONFERENCE OF CHAMPIONS

Yer stupidity never ceases to amaze me. You have the reasoning of a 3rd grader. You make these aguments based on one game. FSU beats UCLA who beat USC.......so, USC sucks, as does the Pac 10 - ridiculous.

YER A MORON. One game, or common opponents does not spell out the strength of a conference, or team. Yeah, fine the Pac 10 is 0-3 so far- the reality is, they still had more quality wins during the regular season than anyone, in games that actually mattered. There was no hype - I gave respek to the SEC, and OSU/Mich- period. Until proven otherwise, the Big 10 3-11 was awful this year- and they proved nothing out of conference. The Pac 10 played people, and I am waiting for you to give me their NC quality wins for the 2006 season, or even tough OPPENENTS, they played no one.............ding dong

You can say whatever you want about the Pac 10 - real talk shows they went on the road to..........

Ark, LSU, Tenn, Auburn, Oklahoma, Hawaii - and led the country in quality wins

Yer Big 10........... off the top of my head @ UT,ND -what else ya got????

As for the Big 12???? :D

Dude! you need a pair of reading glasses or summin'. I never said a game made a season or common opponents crap, you can read into it all you like and get defensive to protect that weakass conference. Facts are facts however, the PAC 10 is 0-3 in games they should have won, period ! !

The fact the UCLA pinned down USC, says alot to me when they get trounced by a FAR LESS then average offense in Florida St, who struggles to manage mere FG's in the SEC. The PAC 10 is proving once again, it's a NO DEFENSE, all about Offense league..................again.

And the "real" talk about the PAC 10, is they're 0-3 against weaker competition, that the big conferences mediocre teams shouldn't lose to.

As far as the Big 10 proving nothing out of confernce, you may be right, but i gaurentee they'd kick the living snot out of the Rosie O'Donnell out west :bash: , Furthermore Michigan punked ND at ND by a greater margin then USC did at home :D

FSU is like what 6-6???? UCLA came off a huge win and emotion was with the Noles...No excuse UCLA got careless and I would be more worried about the bad coaching decisons if I was a UCLA homer...I know you are not a UCLA fan just a observation. The game being played in San Fran. does not help matters either. The score was 27-23 mid 3rd quarter. I would not call that complete control.....Not even by Big Ten means.

whatever- I think I am realistic when it comes to the Pac 10 - past years have been USC and mediocrity, and this year I think the league was stronger than past years, as evidenced by their conference rating, and quality of wins. AND on the flip, the normally tough Big 10 was OSU/MICH and mediocrity, and you Big 10 homers won't admit it. SO, sure, if OSU/CAL/USC shat the bed- I will bow to the Big 10 being a better league in 2006. Now, you all have jumped all over our weaker bowl teams, let's wait and see how this all plays out .

The Pac-10 completely sucks, and if Cal loses to A@M, then they have a shot to go winless as a conference in the bowls.

LMAO, at best this conference goes 500 in the bowls, and has a shot at going 0-6 or 1-5. Id be embarassed after the first three romps. But some fools never learn. Keep it up, its pure entertainment for the rest of us.

At least TOS is coming from the Big 10, one of the big boy leagues- go to the ACC/Big East/Big 12 b1tchfest on Oxygen network, because no one cares about the Big 12 - it was flat out awful.

The Pac-10 Co-Champs handle the #4 team in the Big 12. Wow, that was impressive.

The Puke-10 has lost to a Mac, a Wac and another team without a winning record. That is greatness.

The Pac-10 is the worst conference in the country bar none. Every conference is superior to that sad sack showing thus far.

Losing to a WAC and a MAC team, LMMFAO. :D

Not a good showing for the Pac-10 in bowls this year, no doubt, but I still think the Big East and ACC are worse overall. But the only one I care about is Monday. Santa totally surprised me with tix, and I was definitely the biggest kid at Xmas this year. too excited....
