peepinmofo
http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20061228/1004494.asp The first line is what gets me... McGahee one of the best backs in the NFL over the last few years? Really? How could I have missed that? As a Bills fan, I disagree he has been one of the best. He had a great end of 2004, but 05 wasnt anything special, and this year was nothing more then last year. My question is this... Does he REALLY rank up there with the top backs in the NFL? Im not asking about his college career... just his pro career. Does he deserve an extension? Maybe... But I have a strong feeling he will demand money in the range of someone like Westbrook or another player who actually performs.
nuke'em ttg
probably his Dikhead agent.......
Seahawks21
seems to me that this just rings that they should have extended T-Hen when they had the chance and used the pick on something they actually needed.
isleseeya
Very disappointing back ..does he even have 1000 yards yet this year ?? Lost a lot of faith in him from a fantasy football perspective and I have no idea what would change in buffalo next year that would suddenly make him have a big improvement
Piranha
With the exception of Evans, their decisions have been short of great in past few drafts.

DMD
I might go as far as to say he is among the 32 best backs in the last three years. CAR-YDS-TD 284-1128-13 363-1247-5 248-967-6 He's never had over 4 yards per carry and seems to have peaked in 2005. Oh yeah, top dollar for sure. MERLINS
The day that they ran Henry out of town, was the day that I stopped giving a damn about that team. Henry did more for the Bills in his tenure than Willis.

(although, I do still give a damn about the team ) Edited December 30, 2006 by Piranha
PSULions
With the cap going up to $109M next year Drew is simply posturing for McGahee. Teams now try to keep the best players and it is likely that Willis will have his best years in the next 3 - 5 years. However, Drew will try and get him a top 3 RB contract, which clearly Willis does not merit and a holdout will ensure as the Bills will be nuts to try and shell out that type of coin for what I am sure Drew will be asking for. The Bills would be smart to re-sign him prior to him becoming a unrestricted FA after the end of his contract, but it should be for slightly more than Edge got last year. Something like 5 years for $38-40M, but I doubt that he would sign for that. Unfortunately, I see this looking like a bad situation with Drew as his agent. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
MERLINS
I live in Roch NY, as a Dallas fan, I used to be a "secondary" fan of the Bills. I drift around with my second team from time to time and can't stand the Bills ever since they dumped Henry. I thought he was a stud for them and played his heart out for them. Oh well.
