Skippy
For the first time in a long time this is a very meaningless game. No playoff hope. I mean last week the hope was almost non existant but this week there is officially no way the stars can align, no amount of voodoo or anything. Now I know what it's like to be a Cleveland fan. Last Plane Out
So what does that mean? You think for a second he is the only reason we win. Chuck Noll left also. So is he the last coach that we will have? Is Ben leaving? We are not the Browns...we will win again. Cowher is the best coach the Steelers will ever have, he will be missed. Not too many people missed Noll
Last Plane Out
Are you on crack? One SB win vs. 4. Seriously, you can not be more than 10 years old to make that comment. Cowher blew more chances at a title than most coaches ever dream about. He will be missed, but the world is not over. Please, for God's sake, put down the pipe. Was it Noll ? or was it this
Grits and Shins
I'd rather be in your shoes watching your Steelers play in a meaningless game than in mine watching the Dallas Cowboys continue their implosion in a horrible loss to the Lions. Skippy
Cowher is the best coach the Steelers will ever have, he will be missed. Not too many people missed Noll Coach Chuck Noll was a great coach for most of his time here in Pittsburgh. His time was over several years before he left and it was time for him to go. He was still a great coach but the times moved ahead of him and it was time for a change. There is no way anyone can debate Cowher's tenure here. His record is his record. I was never a big Cowher fan but again you just can't argue with his overall record. I would take a Cowher clone any day of the week over just about anything out there. If I was Cowher I would walk away now. I would not fade the way Noll did. If he goes now, people will always remember him as a very good coach. If he waits and has two more seasons like this one. Will he be missed if his time is over? Yes I am sure that he will. Will it be a void that can not filled? I really don't think so. Oh and yes the meaningless win for the Steelers, (not so meaningless for the Bengals), still felt pretty good and I loved watching the game. Oh and btw, did anyone notice that the Steelers went 6-2 during that second half of the season? It's pretty amazing to me that a 2-6 team turned it around and won 6 of the last 8 games. Grits and Shins
Steelers finish the season 6-2 with their heads held high. Cowboys finish it 1-3, losing 3 games at home with their heads hanging. Cowboys are one-and-done.

I understand what you're saying but the future is'nt all roses for Pitt either. 4 of those 6 wins came against TB, Car(without Delhomme) and Cle twice and their QB played like Sega! all season (23 picks).
