Ohio State Trivia

Yeah, it's probably to early to discuss the Ohio State/Florida game, but I did want to share something I read the other day.

Did you know that Ohio State has played against SEC teams 7 times in their illustrious bowl history?

Twice against Alabama

Twice against South Carolina

Auburn

Georgia

Tennessee

Guess what Ohio State lifetime record is against SEC schools?

Yes, that is correct. Ohio State is 0-7 lifetime, in bowl games against SEC teams. To Jim Tressel credit his only bowl lost to a SEC team came as the Buckeye Coach was way back in 2002 to the SEC powerhouse South Carolina Fightin' Gamecocks. Unlike the Buckeye faithful, Tressel actually has a rare chance to raise his zero batting average up to a very respectable .500 vs. SEC schools. Best of Luck Coach! :D

Here's the record:

2002 31-28 (Lost to South Carolina)

2001 24-7 (Lost to South Carolina)

1996 20-14 (Lost to Tennessee)

1995 24-17 (Lost to Alabama)

1993 21-14 (Lost to Georgia)

1990 31-14 ((Lost to Auburn)

1978 35-6 (Lost to Alabama

0-8 Ohio State vs. SEC add the Gators to the list. :D
