Yeah, Florida was great this year -- but they couldn't beat Auburn ... but then again, nobody beat Boise State. Select from the whine list at your convenience: 1) "well, the Gators' loss didn't really count" 2) "but the Tigers' loss did count" 3) "even though Boise State NEVER lost, don't even go there because the champ can only be from a preordained school based on conference regardless of on-field performance, despite beating one of those traditional powerhouses in their bowl game" ... or better yet, have a glass of all three whines and try and convince yourself that a 51-day wait from the end of the season to the bowl makes sense and a playoff isn't necessary ... No disrespect to Boise State, I don't believe they go undefeated if they played in any of the "major" conferences. I would love to have a playoff system in place.
