Caveman_Nick Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 Pete Prisco was on WEEI in Boston this AM, and part of his interview included a prediction that the Patriots would find a way to win versus the chargers this weekend. A short while later, a San Diego fan that was listening to WEEI in Boston over the internet from California called and told the show's hosts that Prisco was on a SD sports station a couple of days ago predicting a San Diego win. Prisco is one of those arm-chair journalist geniuses who have most likely never played football in his life (aside from neighborhood one hand touch games as a kid) while being a journalism nerd in his youth, but makes himself an expert by having watched the game for a couple of decades from the comfort of a couch and/or bar stool and/or press box seat. His lack of understanding of the game is alarming, but he gets propped up by a goodly number of his peers in journalism.
