MikesVikes
The Bears have established that Rex isn't a dog on a short leash. He'll be standing in their way now.

Ursa Majoris
they played horrible today. But won. You can tell they did because the numbers next to them (27) are higher than the numbers next to the Seahawks (24). Ask your first grade teacher about numbers on Monday, she'll know. Didn't you see the game previews. This was a quote from a teammate. They said that Rex isn't a dog on a leash. I wasn't praising the guy. Ursa Majoris
No, I didn't see the preivew. But, everytime Rex goes back in the pocket, it has to give Chicago homers heart attacks! Indeed. Even though he's in his 4th year, the periods on IR are showing. There are some fundamentals missing from his game, like what to do when blitzed, how quick to get rid of the ball and not to run backwards so far. He can hit the long one, though. Hopefully there will be a discussion thread during the week when the heat has died down a bit.
H8tank
But won. Yeah, Rex is awesome, keep telling yourself that. The saints will mow through them. If the bears couldn't handle seattle, how are they gonna handle duece, bush, colston and henderson?

But is it necessary to have an awesome QB to get to and win the Superbowl? Nope. Rex isn't the Bears major problem, not by far. Their two biggest issues are the lack of a pass rush and the way their running game peters out as the game goes on, IMO.

How good does Tommy Harris look now? Talk about a draft class that's performing... 1. Eli Manning 2. Robert Gallery 3. Larry Fitzgerald 4. Phillip Rivers 5. Sean Taylor 6. Kellen Winslow 7. Roy Williams 8. DeAngelo Hall 9. Reggie Williams 10. Duanta Robinson 11. Ben Roethlisberger 12. Jon Vilma 13. Lee Evans 14. Tommy Harris. Very impressive start! I don't know about that...sure, he's going to make some mistakes, but when I see him in the pocket, I know that he can sling the ball 60+ yards on a rope and make a big play. He's gotta take more chances next week up the field.

gilthorp
Maybe they'll just review that Redskin-Saint game film,..................................and hope for the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Agreed. They need to look at that Washington game and the Giants game and figure out what it was that caused him to not play as well. I'm only saying this based on paper.....I did not see either game, but noticed that Brees didn't have great numbers in either of those games. I think the Bears D is as good on their best day as the Giants and Skins were.
gilthorp
If he does, let's hope Berrian is getting good separation. I'm sure Bradley is out for the NFC CC...which means, Justin Gage will be there to screw things up a little.
