PantherDave
Well, since I found the play and coaching of the Ravens and Chargers to be..well sloppy at times. This seemed appropriate for the AFC Championship Game. Sloppy Joe's Prep- 25 mins Cook-low 6hrs/ high 3hrs CP-3 1/2 to 4 qt'er 2 1/2 lbs ground beef/turkey/chicken/pork(I'll be using ground beef) 1 medium onion, chopped 3 cloves of garlic, minced 1 1/4 cups catsup 1 medium green pepper, chopped 2 stalks celery, chopped 1/3 cup water 3 tablespoons brown sugar 3 tablespoons prepared mustard 3 tablespoons vinegar 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon chili powder 16 hamburger buns( i use the Pepperridge Farm Onion Rolls myself) Step 1- In large skillet cook ground beef(or other), onion, and garlic until meat is brown and onion tender. Drain off fat. Step 2- In CP combine catsup, green peppers, celery, water, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, Worcestshire sauce, and chili powder. Stir in meat mixture. Step 3- Cover and Cook desired temp and time. Spoon onto buns The Colts make the SB finally Pats 20 Colts 27 Bon Appetite and good luck on the Homer Front and Smack Bowl wise-Peace PD.
