Savage Beatings
Alright you Denver Broncos homers, tell me what you can about Tim Brewster. Your former TE Coach has just been hired as the new MN Gophers Head Coach. I don't know anything about him, but apparently they say his son Clint is a blue chip top QB and is going to follow him to Minnesota now instead of going to Illinois. MikesVikes
Maybe his kid will be the next John Elway.
pseudolefty
Prior to Brewster being the Broncos TE coach, he was the Chargers TE coach, and he is credited with the development of Antonio Gates from a raw talent who didn't play any college football to the elite player that he is today. Savage Beatings
Never heard of him. How's that! Seems to be the most common reaction so far.
Azazello1313
i know he was our tight ends coach. beyond that..
godtomsatan
The Bronco bio says he's a Mack Brown guy who was with him at UNC and Texas, whatever that's worth. I'm sure the fact his kid would switch schools was a bigger factor than that.
Bronco Billy
Here's a story from today's Rocky Mountain News on him: RMN Brewster story I don't know who the hell he is either, but that's not unusual given that DEN carries in excess of 20 coaches on its staff every year. Azazello1313
i heard em saying on the radio that he's sort of considered to be "the guy who recruited vince young". he musta really sold minnesota on his recruiting ability, because otherwise it's hard to see them throwing a million bucks at a position coach with no higher-level experience to run their program. Recruiting was a major deficiency...along with blowing 31 point 3rd quarter leads.
