Rockerbraves
ESPN.com is reporting Oregon's offensive coordinator Gary Crowton is leaving the Ducks after two seasons to take over the OC job at LSU vacated by Jimbo Fisher who left for Florida State. If he can lead La Tech to the best offense in the nation I can't wait to see what he can do at LSU! http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2732307 Offensive Coordinator, Louisiana State University (2007-Present) Offensive Coordinator, University of Oregon (2005-2006) Head Coach, Brigham Young University (2001-04) Offensive Coordinator, Chicago Bears (1999-2000) Head Coach, Louisiana Tech University (1996-98) Offensive Coordinator, Louisiana Tech (1995) Co-Offensive Coordinator, Georgia Tech (1994) Quarterbacks, Boston College (1991-93) Offensive Coordinator, New Hampshire (1988-90) Passing Game Coordinator, Western Illinois (1987) Offensive Coordinator, Snow College (1984-86) Secondary, Snow College (1983) Student Assistant, Brigham Young University (1982) Edited January 16, 2007 by Rockerbraves
polksalet
If you liked Boise's offense you will love Crowton. I bet he will run the swinging gate 15 times per game.
Sgt. Ryan
If he was that great he wouldnt be in his 13th job in coaching and coming from Oregon. But then again, Les Miles isnt good either, just the benefit of Sabans success and kids. Saban would have probably gone undefeated this past yr if he hadnt left LSU. No doubt I'm excited to see what he can do here with LSU's talent at the skill positions. Most will agree the SEC is probably known more for their tough speedy defenses while the Pac 10 & other west coast conferences are more known for their explosive offenses. Should be fun to see if it works as well for us as it did for the Gators this season. Edited January 17, 2007 by Rockerbraves
