Rockerbraves
Can anybody tell me if this is true or not. Dome teams are 1-9 when playing on the road in NFL Conference Championships?
Randall
Can anybody tell me if this is true or not. Dome teams are 1-9 when playing on the road in NFL Conference Championships? Come on man. Favre had a bad dome history but won in a dome superbowl andf lost one on grass. Past history doesn't affect present outcomes. I would expact all road teams to have problems on the road as those home teams have had better years. As for the Bears they had the easiest schedule of any team this year. If they play better than the Saints they'll win. If the Saints play better they will.

Makes perfect sense. I agree totally. The past is looked at way too much.
Rockerbraves
is that one win when the Falcons (Dome) went to Minny? Now that is only fitting. The only win by a dome team on the road was played in a dome.
muck
Come on man. Favre had a bad dome history but won in a dome superbowl andf lost one on grass. Come on man. The question is about Conference Championships, not Super Bowls. And, to the question ... yes, that's correct. Stated another way, never in the history of the NFL has a dome team visited an outdoor team for the Conference Championship and won.
rajncajn
Yet another silly statistic that has absolutely no relevance to todays game.
