geeteebee
Now the word is that they are going to interview Mike Singletary. I have to imagine this is a quota move and nothing more.
Retrograde assault
I can't imagine Singletary not coaching Baylor at some point.
Perchoutofwater
I wouldn't mind Singletary. I'd rather give him a try than Norv. If he doesn't work out, we can always hire Cower next year.

Snaggy
Norv Turner would Probably be a front runner along with maybe Mike Singletary...just a thought
geeteebee
Why? cuz I just don't think JJ will hire him. I think he has his mind made up on Norv and is just doing this to be in compliance with the Rooney Rule. I could be totally wrong, but its just my guess. What do you think of these apples: I can see Garrett as OC, Singletary as DC and let Norv be the steward as those two compete for a season or two to replace Norv. I guess you'd have to call Singletary an assistant head coach (and in turn Garrett as well) also so it could be defined as a promotion over his current position but that'd be fine. I posted this in another thread, but, I'm not convinced that Cowher would be interested in the Cowboys job. I'm sure Jerry Jones would throw a lot of money at Cowher, and maybe he has his price, but, I don't think coaching for an owner like Jerry Jones and dealing with a player like Terrell Owens is what Cowher would want to come back to. Like I said, I could be way off here, but, just knowing Cowher's personality from all his years with the Steelers, this just doesn't seem like a match to me.
