Giants safety Gibril Wilson was robbed at gunpoint Monday while he was at a party in Manhattan. ESPN is reporting that the robbery occurred outside of The Boulevard Club, site of a party for Smooth magazine. Wilson was in his 2007 Mercedes when some men in another vehicle pulled alongside Wilson's car. One of the men allegedly said, "Nice ride," then the men demanded Wilson's jewelry at gunpoint. They took Wilson's jewelry, wallet and the keys to his Mercedes. The car was not taken, and Wilson was not injured.

Yeah, I'm glad to hear he's ok, too. There are all too many NFL players out there who are cocky enough to have tried something and gotten seriously injured in that situation. Sounds like Gibril may have taken the high road and done the smart thing.... "do what the guy with the gun tells you".

Too bad about his precious gems though.

Good thing they didn't take his water bottle.

That's kinda strange that they took his keys but not his car. Isn't it?

Glad he's alright.

Maybe he had some sort of nifty, cool looking keychain that all the thugs want. Maybe it was like a spinner keychain or something. Heck Id rob someone at gunpoint for one of those!!
