Mike Bell, RB DEN

News: CBS SportsLine has confirmed that the Lions and Broncos will complete a trade that will send CB Dre Bly to Denver in exchange for RB Tatum Bell, OT George Foster and what is believed to be a fifth-round pick in the 2007 Draft. Bly will take Darrent Williams' old spot in the Broncos secondary, while Foster will immediately be place into the Lions' starting offensive line and Tatum Bell will start for Kevin Jones, who suffered a Lisfranc injury late last season and may not be ready to start the season when he gets healthy. Mike Bell can be penciled in as the starter for the Broncos for now.

Analysis: This transaction leaves Mike Bell alone as the starting running back in Denver -- for now. There is some speculation that the Broncos will look to add another running back (in fact, they'll have to with Cedric Cobbs the only other name on the depth chart), so that could bring Mike Bell's Fantasy status back down to earth. Last year, he rushed for 677 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 20 catches for 158 receiving yards with no fumbles lost. For now, he's a solid No. 2 Fantasy RB worth taking between Rounds 3 and 4 in all leagues.
