cliaz
EDIT - sorry for the typo in the title. Could someone fix it? The Denver Post "believes" that MaGahee is on top of the list of back that the Broncos are interested in. FAN BALL: The News With the recent trade that sent Tatum Bell to Detroit, the Broncos have their sights set on a new tailback. The Denver Post is reporting that Willis McGahee of the Bills is believed to be atop the Broncos wish list. McGahee is still under contract in Buffalo, but has requested a trade. Our View Those of you that have McGahee in keeper leagues must be salivating. Denver needs a top tailback, and Willis would fit the bill. Ahman Green is also drawing interest from the Broncos, but we can see why Mike Shanahan would prefer to have McGahee in his backfield. Stay tuned, because if Denver pulls off a trade for Willis, his fantasy value would increase dramatically. The obvious response is "so". I'd love McGahee to come to Denver. The reason he's terrible is because the Bills O-Line is terrible.

cliaz
Which is why I didn't just write so. If he does land there, how do you see the M. Bell/McGahee situation unfolding? I have both on my keeper league with McGahee a 3rd round pick and Bell a 5th round pick. I've been keeping R. Johnson the past 2 years and I really don't wanna keep him for a #2 pick this year. I wuold hope that one of those two get the 80% carries but its denver's running game.
Azazello1313
If he does land there, how do you see the M. Bell/McGahee situation unfolding? without question mcgahee is the clear #1, with mike bell a clear #2. and my hope would be that they'd also bring in another guy as a 3rd down back. HowboutthemCowboys
without question mcgahee is the clear starter for weeks 1,2 ,5 ,7 and 14, with mike bell the starter for weeks 3,4,6 ,8 and 9, and my hope would be that they'd also bring in another guy as a 3rd down back who can get the bulk of the carries for weeks 10, 11,12,13,16 and 17. fixed
cliaz
The words "clear" and "Denver" do not go together when talking RBs. Kind of what i'm getting at. McGahee "should" be the clear #1 if he goes there. Would he be? Doubtful. Who knows.

Id say its about as likely as going in to last year when Tatum was guaranteed to be the starter. Say what you will about McGahee being behind a bad OL. Ive seen many a games as a Bills fan where he just flat out didnt TRY to run hard. Not only that, but he isnt active in the passing game. Not in Buffalo anyway. Would he be elsewhere? Id bet my money on no. He is just over rated IMO, and that isnt because he doesnt wanna be in Buffalo, its because he is not as good as advertised. Azazello1313
when your best RB is tatum bell or mike anderson, yeah you may change things up a bit week to week. when your best RB is terrell davis or clinton portis, not so much. if they get mcgahee, trust me on this, he is the guy. That would be pretty sweet. I can't use R> Johnson again this year, he's killed me the last 2 seasons.

See, what I question is this... I personally dont think McGahee compares to Portis or Davis. What has he done to be compared? He had a few good games in like 04 or 05, but hasnt done anything since. Blame it on the OL if ya want, but he just flat out doesnt play like he should. Maybe a change of scenery will help him, but if its sunny warm weather hes looking for, he wont play any harder in Denver.

Edge had a little trouble in Arizona this year, I guess he's soft too huh?

Show me in my post... ANY of them... where I made mention of Edge. Please do not speak unless spoken to, and don't speak on matters in which you do not know anything of.
