hause62
The Rumor is a second round pick this year with either a six or fifth round pick in next years draft. I have no link...it's been on the radio here all morning.
Bronco Billy
Heard the same rumor last night on Sportscenter. It wouldn't surprise me one bit that this one has legitimate legs. There's no question BUF is shopping McGahee. BAL obviously desires a RB with greater potential than Musa. BUF is still talking to the higher profile FA RBs still left out there. I'd give this rumor a lot more credence than normal.
dabuffbills
he will most likely go to Balt. and then the Bills will sign either Chris Brown or Rhodes
Bronco Billy
he will most likely go to Balt. and then the Bills will sign either Chris Brown or Rhodes It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see BUF sign both guys. After McGahee, there's only Anthony Thomas & Shaud Williams left on the roster at RB - and if I'm not mistaken, Thomas is a UFA. Has he re-signed? Just checked. Thomas is still a UFA. Anyone thinking he can be a serviceable back, or maybe a rbbc?
peepinmofo
Great. Then all these people that say McGahee is just on a team with a bad OL will see he is just over rated. Unless he does well, then Ill bite the bullet and say he really WAS that good. But until then, he is over rated.

NAUgrad
Brown is no help at the RB position. I can't remember the last time he actually finished a game healthy. Rhodes is okay, but more of a stop gap player. If this goes through, then I'm guessing that their 1st round pick is a RB.
cliaz
As a Colt fan I do not like this idea. Why? Did you make a bet he wouldn't go the Ravens?
hause62
I don't think they sign anybody. I think they are going to draft there starter...say Bush or Leonard in the second round. The trade will give them the ability to draft the best play available in the first round.
Pope Flick
What about Anthony Thomas? Anyone thinking he can be a serviceable back, or maybe a rbbc? People here think RBBC, but don't be surprised if Jauron thinks: starter. Remember he was coach of the Bears when drafted and had these years: Rushing Receiving | 2001 chi | 14 | 278 1183 4.3 7 | 22 178 8.1 0 | | 2002 chi | 12 | 214 721 3.4 6 | 24 163 6.8 0 | | 2003 chi | 13 | 244 1024 4.2 6 | 9 36 4.0 0 | 2001 was his rookie year, and didn't start the 1st two games. I don't remember why he missed games (what type of injury) but he's one of those 'gets better with more carries' guys, and Jauron is loyal to a fault. Believe me on that. So don't be too surprised......especially if they've convinced themselves their passing game is now working well enough to open holes. I think they would have made sure to sign him right away if that was the plan.

If that's the case, you can kiss Thomas' value away as anything better than a #3 RB in FF. I remember Jauron's use of Anthony Thomas well during that time - as well as Jauron's middle-school level blocking schemes. Jauron misused Thomas badly, and this was a time when the D & the running game could have easily carried CHI.

They were so bad and has was so loyal they had to be run out of town at once because he wouldn't fire them. One left early, the other replaced (I think Shoop replaced Crowton) that one. I forget because it's blacked out of my mind from pain. I missed ATrain was an UFA. Might not mean much at this point maybe he resigns if he's given a shot at starting?....we'll see. Bronco Billy
i could swear i heard on Buffalo radio last week that Anthony Thomas was re-signed by the Bills. nfl.com has Thomas still listed as a UFA, and he's not on their transaction blotter.
