SLAYER Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 It was in Sunday's paper they were doing a run down of the Saints FA move and signings, what they were looking into and such. It was mentioned that they were looking to add a Vet FA WR and they were looking at Stokely and had talked to seatlle about D-Jax. That's it nothing more or less. just think that they inquired about it and moved on. It did go on to say that Payton loves the team chemistry and that anybody they bring in will have to pass his chemistry test to sign on. also said not to expect to much turnover this season with FA and draft because he loves his core 35-40. It probably wouldn't, but I really doubt he'll be coming to NO. I think as Slayer said it was just a matter of them inquiring about him. As a Seattle homer I have a hard time thinking that Djax's numbers will generally go up on any other team. Djax is a nice enough athlete but I think his numbers are elevated by being heavily involved in an effective WCO and being the favorite target of Hasselbeck.
