Dutch Oven
Anyone have any good seasonings for grilled asparagus? I usually do olive oil, worchestshire and motreal steak seasoning but am looking for something different.

With the new emphasis on salt you have some new "simple" options - I like the Truffle Salt with olive oil and pepper myself. Pretty simple, but pretty d@mn good. PantherDave
Anyone have any good seasonings for grilled asparagus? I usually do olive oil, worchestshire and motreal steak seasoning but am looking for something different. I do EVOO, garlic salt and Nature Seasonings. I place an old metal plate that sits on a wooded plate/holder. But I place it on the back of the grill and let it get hot, then through the asparagus on it-super sizzle, and cook'em up. Take off the grill place on the wooden tray and take inside-eat'em while there hot.
twiley
I do sesame oil, soy sauce, sesame seeds, fresh garlic and then a ton of pepper and sea salt because that tends to cook off.
detlef
Olive oil, salt, and pepper seem to do the trick for me. Right now at the restaurant, we're making a salt cod and rice fritter, serving that on top of some grilled asparagus, placing a lightly poached egg on top of that, drizzling a sauce of cilantro, fish sauce, rice vinegar, and sweet chili on top. Freaking goooood.

Kid Cid
It's the aspic acid (go ahead and say it out loud) in asparigus that makes the pee smell. I cuss, you cuss, we all cuss for asparagus!
broncosn05
Just a little bit of olive oil and a little salt while grilling. They seem to taste awesome without much done.
