Bronco Billy
My guess is foot, ankle, knee, or leg. Considering he's missed time in each of the last four seasons for various ailments with these body parts. You guess? You sounded positively authoratative that he would get hurt in your earlier response. I figured that you had a dream, or looked into your crystal ball, or had some kind of epiphany that you were so sure he would be injured. Henry has missed 10 of a possible 96 games due to injury. 5 of those were due to a broken leg. I guess I have a tolerance for those kinds of odds for a guy who figures to be the clear favorite to be the featured RB for the DEN rushing machine. I have Henry in a dynasty league. I'm tickled pink that he's playing in Denver. However you cannot ignore the fact that he had more carries in 2006 than he had in 2004 and 2005 COMBINED. I don't see how you can do an in-depth player evaluation with nary a mention of the possibility that 2006 was an aberration. I don't suppose that 2004 & 2005 couldn't be the aberration and that he could be a talented RB who has put up 1400+, 1300+, and 1200+ yd rushing seasons for teams that quite frankly were not good running teams. In 2004 BUF was going with their 1st round pick whom they had to justify picking despite his horrible college knee injury in McGahee, and in 2005 Henry was suspended for 4 games and was playing behind incumbent starter Chris Brown at TEN after being traded in the second half of July. The plain fact is that despite playing for bad rushing teams, Henry has been very productive everytime he's been tagged the starter. He appears to have his suspension issues behind him, and aside from a broken leg (that he played on) he's missed 5 of 96 games due to injury regarding other nagging minor items. I'll take that kind of risk for the #1 RB in DEN.

Here's the dream I had: Henry has missed 10 of a possible 96 games due to injury. 5 of those were due to a broken leg. I guess I have a tolerance for those kinds of odds for a guy who figures to be the clear favorite to be the featured RB for the DEN rushing machine. Go back and look on KFFL archives about his "nagging" ankle problem that cost him his job in Buffalo in 2004, or the "nagging" turf toe that rendered him useless (along with his suspension) in Tennessee in 2005. He suited up 20 of the 32 games in those 2 seasons. He was pulled from multiple games he played in due to injury. Same thing happened in parts of 2003. He missed a game, and was sidelined in at least one other. He missed the last month of his rookie season in '01 with a sprained knee, though I'm not sure if that's the same one he had surgically repaired while he was in college. 2006 he struggled during the first month or so, missing two games, not starting one, and ineffectively running in another. Then he took off, played great throughout the season, except for a stretch between about Week 12 and Week 15 where he had his leg in a boot, didn't practice during the week, and couldn't play at 100%. The guy has been able to play a full season only once in his career, and that was 5 seasons ago. All I'm saying is that any rational "projection" of Travis Henry has to include this as a factor. I don't understand why you take it personally when someone says as much, and resort to mindless hyperbole as some kind of refuting of basic facts. I'll take that kind of risk for the #1 RB in DEN. Since TD's 1998, Ruben Droughns in 2004 is the only Denver RB to play in every regular season game. Add that to the risk pile for the #1 RB in DEN. MikesVikes
Did you pull this thread up just because Travis smoked some Josh Gordon?

bushwacked
Your manlove for Travis Henry is cute. Your complete ignorance of his inability to play a full-season is alarming.
