Fatman
Looks like the Bears game on 10/7 is a Sunday night game, 10/29 game is Monday night, 11/22 is Turkey Day, 11/29 is a Thursday night game at Dallas. Four primetime games, not bad.
Big John
2 straight Thursday games, rather unusual. And a Sunday road game after a Monday Night road game.
Fatman
No real tough stretches here. Alternate home and away to start, then two home games before the bye. Looks like the toughest stretches will be two away at Denver and KC, with the KC game being on a short week. Interesting that they packers will play two Thursdays in a row, both of the road, which could be tough. Have 10 days to prepare for the Raiders . Looks like 16-0 to me. Randall
Again Dallas avoids coming to Lambeau. What is it since the Ice Bowl they've come here only twice?

Big John
it is the same schedule the Bears have minus one game....pack play the eagles and the bears play the saints...every other opponent is the same.... Per NFL policy, in the division, it is all excpet 2. differences are that the Packers play the Panthers and Rams, while the Bears play the Saints and Seahawks. edit: Edited April 11, 2007 by Big John

Pope Flick
Two days before Xmas. Because we'll have a 3 game lead we'll get another "I was worried about my Christams Tree so I didn't prepare" statement from Rexasarus. twiley
1-15 What's that - 6 straight posts where you bash their hometeams? And you wonder why people pile on.

Randall
He didn’t sign a $35 million extension like fellow linebacker Nick Barnett, but Abdul Hodge has also had a pretty good week. That’s because the ex-Iowa star now stands a much better chance of earning a starting job in 2007. “Moving Barnett to a new position in the last year of his contract probably wasn’t going to happen, but that’s suddenly a much more viable option,” said a person familiar with the situation. “Hodge still has to prove that he’s one of the three best linebackers on the team. If he does, I would expect the coaches to seriously consider starting him in the middle and sliding Barnett over to the strong side.” Of course, Brady Poppinga will have something to say about all of this. The incumbent starter on the strong side had 60 tackles last season and played his best football down the stretch. “Hodge will have to outplay Poppinga by a healthy margin in order for the coaches to make a move that will affect two positions,” said the source. “If it’s even remotely close, I would expect things to remain status quo for at least one more year.” So while Hodge is still facing an uphill battle, he stopped being Sisyphus the moment Barnett signed his extension. ©Packer Update 2007.
