And they say athletes get preferential treatment. :D

First they let him serve 2 satte sentences in one place and then he doesn't even have to serve there.

Way to get tough.

WR Robinson serving probation violation sentence in Brown County

Press-Gazette

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Koren Robinson has started serving a sentence of approximately 45 days in Brown County for a probation violation in Minnesota, the Brown County Sheriff’s Department announced today.

On Monday, the Brown County Jail accepted a custody transfer for Robinson, who “went through the identical process as any other individual being incarcerated at the jail,” according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Department.

Robinson, 27, was screened and declared a minimum-security risk eligible for electronic monitoring. He will serve his sentence as an assistant to Dr. Patrick McKenzie, the Packers’ team physician, and Bellin Health Care.

The probation stems from a drunken-driving conviction in Washington state in 2005. His arrest last August in Minnesota on drunken-driving and escape charges violated that probation and led to a 90-day jail sentence he started serving in February.

Robinson also is serving a year’s suspension from the NFL for violations of its substance-abuse program. He can’t be reinstated before Sept. 18.

Let's not go overboard here. The assistant head trainer has been performing community service for years, as he is responsible for inserting Brett Farve's balls into the mouth's of whatever announcer is calling the Packers' game.

Robinson is now fulfilling THAT role.

(KFFL) The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers WR Koren Robinson (knee) will finish a jail sentence in Green Bay, Wis., by serving the final 45 days on electronic monitoring and working at a local hospital, according to local authorities. Robinson was sentenced to 90 days in jail for fleeing police last August. Robinson started serving the sentence March 9 at the Hennepin County, Minn., Adult Corrections Facility, said assistant Nicollet County attorney Paul Tanis. Roger Pederson, an administrator at the facility, said Robinson was released April 7 to serve the rest of his sentence in Wisconsin. Capt. Dave Konrath of the Brown County Sheriff's Department said Robinson became an inmate at the Green Bay jail Monday, April 16, an will serve 45 days on electronic monitoring. As part of the program, Robinson will be allowed to rehabilitate a knee injury and work odd jobs at Bellin Health Care.

At least he is not in some classroom giving a BS talk that he is not interested in giving about the dangers of substance abuse. It ticks me off when these guys are still not better, go into a room full of kids, give a "talk" and get busted again a few days later. :D:D

He sould be raking leaves or picking up trash on the highway!

At Bellin he could be cleaning bedpans.

From JSOnline

At the time of the sentence, Robinson had already been ordered to serve 90 days for violating his probation from a 2005 drunken driving arrest in Kirkland, Wash. The Minnesota judge ruled that Robinson could serve both sentences at the same time.

He ruled that Robinson could serve all 90 days in Green Bay if he reimbursed Brown County for the expenses.

Robinson ran into a snag at the time he was supposed to report for incarceration in Green Bay. The Brown County jail was full, so the first portion of Robinson's sentence - beginning March 9 - was served in Minnesota, according to the Kirkland clerk of courts office.

Agreed. Like the cancer ward at Children's hospital. There you see the real pain of life... from both parent and children's eyes.

He's scum! :D

In addition, hospitals always have a shortage of staff. His issue was drinking, as I recall, but let's hope for his sake that he doesn't help himself to what's inside the medicinal cabinets.

If he does his career in the NFL may become a career in prison. This is his last chance.
