The Holy Roller
...damn good so far! Two 20 pound birds the last two days and the woods are still full of'em. The wife has me cut the breasts up into one inch cubes and she marinates them in teriyaki then kabobs with veggies. That plus the grilled asparagus from that thread and I am one stuffed, sore, deliriously happy gobbler killer. And ya know what? I'm going out tomorrow too! Sounds like the birds are coming in well for you. No wild gobblers for me, but I am just now marinating some pork and turkey for kabobs. Gotta break in the new grill mom and dad got me for my b-day. Yes, it's gas - you purists, but 780 sq. in. of cooking space and 63,000 BTUs at my command :evilhomerlaugh:

The Holy Roller
Ever deep fried a wild turkey? Wondering if that's good eatin'... I deep fried one once. The breast meat was good but apparently the bird was so lean the rest of the parts were not nearly as tasty as a good ole butterball. But some friends of mine fried one and it was great. I guess it depends on the bird. Yuk's monster would prolly be delicious if it would fit in a fryer, lol.
Jimmy Neutron
dead duck ( duck balls) While I admire you for utilizing the whole bird, I'm not sure going to the length of eating duck testicles is the effort it must take.
