way to go out on a limb there. if you throw in oline dline i think you have it all covered. lol.

Yeah, I know. But to be more specific - they need a swing DB - future starting corner potential, nickel/dime back now, maybe able to swing to safety - a RB to provide competition/depth for Morency and Herron - though I'm comfortable with those two as GB's RBs going into the season - a TE to supplant the apparently spent Franks, and some WR depth.

The first 3 are priorities, the last one can wait.

I'd like to see that as well. Jackson kinda concerns me, but he's definitely got a lot of talent.

Well, if he was an air-tight prospect, he wouldn't be here this late.

As far as I guy who can swing between CB/safety I like his skill set; TSN has him ranked 17th overall, PFW 46th, so he's FANTASTIC value at this point, for what that's worth.

EDIT - skimming his write-ups, he sounds a bit Darren Sharper-esque, I daresay.

You'd think we'd adress our defense before we took a project player.

This draft has been a beating.

Ted Thompson, I hope you know something the rest of us don't.

:D

From my write up on last year's draft:

Last year's trend of overdrafting late-round players certainly held true; but given that his big reaches last year were Collins, Poppinga, and Mike Hawkins - all of whom look promising - it's tough to jump on him too awful much.
Last year he reached mildly on Jennings and Colledge, along with Moll and Tyrone Culver.

So far he's been doing OK with overdrafting players in respect to their perceived value.
