Swiss Cheezhead
Here's hoping Justin Harrell can single-handedly stop Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson and Greg Olsen. We better get Moss.
muck
What about Michael Turner?
tosberg34
Thompson better have something in the wings that we don't know about. I'll wait for a couple of days before I make my FINAL judgment but it's not looking good right now. We need help on OFFENSE, not defense (well, not as much as offense anyway). Need help on the line and at safety. Harrick will help. He has several more picks to go.

Chavez
Here's hoping Justin Harrell can single-handedly stop Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson and Greg Olsen. We better get Moss. Peterson will only need to be stopped in one game a year due to injury. Olsen is soft. Calvin Johnson... ...well, he plays for the Lions so he can run amuck and it'll be fine because none of their other 21 starters are good for anything (see "Sanders, Barry"). And Harrell doesn't need to single-handedly stop them - he needs to clog up the middle so that when Kampman and Jenkins hold the ends, Peterson has nowhere to go before Hawk or Barnett wrap him up. He needs to collapse the pocket so that Kitna and Grossman can't step up and buy time for Johnson and Olsen to shake the coverage of Poppinga (okay, maybe not the toughest assignment) and Woodson. Defense wins championships.
Chavez
+ Jerry...err....Sidney Rice... That guy's skill set is so similar to Driver and Jennings I can see why GB didn't go for him - but my buddy and I had great sentiment because S Carolina WRs have been good to GB over the recent past (Sharpe, Robert Brooks). You're probably referring to Morency who was good last year. We need to adress the secondary. We need the secondary to stop Johnson and Rice
Wolverines Fan
Here's hoping Justin Harrell can single-handedly stop Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson and Greg Olsen. We better get Moss. When I woke up this morning, I was worried that your team would trade for M. Turner or LJ and R. Moss.

piratesownninjas
GB adds offense...Brandon Jackson... I think he's got a lot of potential. He runs 10.6 100 yard dash 4.1 speed. One thing is for sure, we've got big play potential in Morency and Jackson. The last runningback from Nebraska that was on the packers was pretty good. Big John
The last runningback from Nebraska that was on the packers was pretty good. I am seeing a pattern here, as with the Vols DL in the 1st.

He's a step up from Chris Henry from AZ in the "potential but not much production" department. Also he appears to be VERY much cut from the same cloth as Morency. CaP'N GRuNGe
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft07/colu...john&id=2852841 Losers... 2. NFC North: The NFC North is a big loser with Adrian Peterson going to Minnesota. Peterson is angry he was bypassed by six teams, and as Larry Johnson proved over the past two seasons, an angry runner is a dangerous runner. Also, Peterson will be going up against three Cover 2-type defenses. Other than Chris Henry of Arizona, Peterson is the fastest running back in this draft. On the artificial turf in the Metrodome, he will appear to be even faster. Peterson slipped to No. 7 because he's 90 percent healed from a collarbone separation. He doesn't plan to have surgery to insert a plate, but if he does, he's going to be sidelined for only six weeks. Six games against him in the division could be very painful for opponents. Ursa Majoris
At least Vikings opponents will know where Peterson is going to run. It'll be left tackle, first two downs. It always is.
