Randall
Nice USC pick-ups in the second round. I thought Kilil was first round talent. Nice pick.
piratesownninjas
The packers are doing the opposite. Ted Thompson is showing us how far he can reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaachhh.
detlef
Once again. I don't know if they're just looking at the ESPN top 10 list, but every guy they take just happens to be a player who's been camping at the top of the "10 best available" list for a while. The kid out of GA is the latest version.
Swampnuts
Good draft by the Panthers so far IMO. Beason was a definate need, Jarret was too good to pass up, and Kalil should've been long gone by then. Plus who knows if Justin Hartwig is going to come back to play next year? Beason should start, Jarrett is Keyshawn's replacement, and Kalil could start at least 8 games.
piratesownninjas
Does the Beason pick tell us that Dan Morgans days are about to be over?

Randall
Does the Beason pick tell us that Dan Morgans days are about to be over? He's more of a will LB'er.
PantherDave
He's more of a will LB'er. Yep, he's an OLB as of now, but if they can put about 7+lbs of muscle on him to get his weight and strength up, then he may be able to move inside. He has the hitting ability and instincts to play MLB, but needs some more mass. The draft was about getting players who could play this season and so far the first 4 picks can all do that
PantherDave
I also believe the pick of Jarret officially shows Colbert the door down the road-possibly a TC casulity. Colbert would be picked up by some team I'm sure, but his day's in Carolina may now be coming to a close.

Perhaps Beason is their MLB of the future.
