Randall
The locker of suspended running back Ricky Williams has been given to rookie running back Lorenzo Booker. This could mean he won't be re-instated or he could be traded. If traded where could he go?
Randall
I wonder if this means there is already a deal in place? You'd think that Miami would be acting like they want to keep Ricky to drive his trade value up. Could it be temporary? Just until a few invitees get cut? The Dolphins do seem to be purging themselves of Saban's players, though Ricky isn't really a Saban guy. I wouldn't mind seeing Ricky in Green Bay. He fits the system well and I think Green Bay would be a good location for him both in terms of media and fan support. No but Randy Mueller was the New Orleans exec that traded Williams from the Saints. I think Green Bay would be a good place for him too. He doesn't really like the spotlight and a small town atmsphere would be good. It could just be re-arranging lockers too, but Cameron doesn't seem interested in him. Bill Swerski
Maybe they're sending Ricky a message that he needs to earn his way back into the featured back/superstar role?

CaGamblers
Great places for Ricky to hang his hat GB, Ten and ATl
Donutrun Jellies
Great places for Ricky to hang his hat GB, Ten and ATl GB would be a good fit as would Ten -- But I'd be reeeeeeeally worried about Ricky's relapses in Atlanta. Ricky and Mike Vick would NOT be a good combo ... What would the media guide cover story be the year after? "Cheech & Chong Impersonators Keep Falcons From Playoffs" ... Savage Beatings
I could see him doing well in New England as a 1-2 punch with Maroney. Cleveland and Tampa Bay could probably use his help this year too.
CarryTheRock
I could see Williams just about anywhere as a change of pace/spell guy. I think he has that in him yet and I think he would actually enjoy not being the starter. That talk of the Rams being interested is just scary if you ask me. 4th quarter and they are going to spell SJax a little with a fresh Ricky... Bengal Mania
That Booker dude may want to examine that locker closeley. If there are any hidden compartments, he might just hit the jackpot!

Randall
As a Ronnie owner I hope its true. Ba-Bye Smokey. Trade him to the Burma Red Hairs. He hasn't smoked in 3 years. Give it a rest. The rookie will stil take carries. Brown has never succeedes at being the main. I hope he goes to the Packers.

Fantasy Jesus
I seriously doubt Ricky is going anywhere. The Dolphins lost both Sammie Morris and Travis Minor in the off season. Lorenzo Booker will not back up Ronnie Brown. Ricky makes close to the league minimum and the man can flat out run the football with the best of them. The Wolf
Dudes, who is he, Thurman Munson? RW is NOT an active Dolphin at the present time. For all Miami knows, he will not be allowed back into the NFL. Why hold "his" locker for him? Focus on the present...and on the guys who are there and who did not walk away from their team. Big Score 1
Why hold "his" locker for him? Why did they hold "his" locker all last year when he was playing in Canada?
Fantasy Jesus
I was under the impression he's more of a scat/change of pace/3rd down type of RB. If Ronnie goes down there is no way Booker can carry the rock full time. Ricky applied for reinstatement on April 27th. The league has 60 days to review the case. I heard an interview with him a few weeks ago. He is still getting tested 3X per week and claims not to have smoked Mary Jane in 3 years. He is under contract with the Dolphins and will be reinstated soon. Those who think differently are just unhappy Ronnie Brown owners. Ricky earning the league minimum is a solid backup to RB. I'd much rather have that then some craptastic 5th or 6th rd draft pick.

Judging by their actions? He's suspended and currently not part of the team. Are they supposed to keep his locker in a shrine-like state unitl he returns? The giving away of his locker shouldn't be news at all. I seriously hope they are not counting on him like they did 2 years ago but the Dolphins actions tell me they expect him back . . . 1. They didn't draft a workhorse RB to spell Ronnie Brown. They drafted Booker who is more of a change of pace RB. 2. They didn't resign Travis Minor or Sammie Morris. Why trade Ricky who IMO would compliment/spell Ronnie Brown perfectly while he makes close to the lague's minimum salary? For a 5th rd pick? No thanks. Jackass
don't see any reason to trade him. unless cameron has given some indication that he doesn't like him or doesn't want him back on the team, I would assume he'd be back.
