Classy guy from a very respectable family heritage.

His cousin, Tim "Lumpy" Herron is also a very decent pro golfer, having won 4 PGA events including the Bank of America Colonial in 2006.

I think the sky is the limit for his professional potential.

Morency will be the guy in Green Bay this year. He was very good at OSU, and has played well every time he's been given a chance, outside of the Rams game last year.

I think Brandon Jackson will be the third down back, as he picks up the blitz well, and has worked in a passing offense.

Herron gets the tough yards. I think he'll get some carries, but not a lot.

Herron displayed a nice knack for catching the ball last year, and I expect him to get plenty of 3rd down work. The guy definitely has "something", but I'm not sure that will ever translate into him being a decent fantasy option.

Herron has good size, vision, and work ethic - he can't create when something isn't there but maxes out what is.

His only problem is he lacks the speed; he was clocked in the 4.6 range coming out, which is in the "fast enough" category, but just isn't a gamebreaker. I think if a team with a decent line HAD to use him as their primary back, he'd be OK.

But GB this year looks like a quagmire for RB production - Morency is apparently the primary back, but Herron certainly should get more than his share of opportunities both running and passing; Brandon Jackson is a bit of an x factor, as he certainly has the ABILITY but is very similar to Morency in style and it remains to be see how well he adapts to the pro game.

As it stands right now, I'd say Morency gets 15-20 carries a game, Herron gets 10 + pass catching role, and Jackson only makes cameo appearances for the first 4-8 games.

Last year to me he was the most impressive runner outside of Ahman.

So far in mini camp the coaches say they are impressed with Jackson though. It should be an open competition.
