Crepes for breakfast (see favorite breakfast thread)

Then I had to see her off at 3pm so she could catch her train to Chicago for the week. :D

(The train was the only option since she's 8 months preggers now and isn't allowed to fly)

Post that soup recipe, sounds awesome.

Here ya go! It is awesome and very simple to make as well.

Marinade

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon salt

Stuff

1/4 lb cook crabmeat, flaked

2 teaspoons cooking oil

3 slices ginger, lightly crushed

4 cups chicken broth

1 cup water

1 bunch watercress (about 3/4 lb) tough stems removed

1/2 cup sliced carrots

1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Method

1. Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add crabmeat and stir to coat. Let stand 10 minutes.

2. Place a pot over high heat until hot. Add cooking oil, swirling to coat sides. Add ginger and cook until fragrant, about 10 seconds. Add crabmeat and stir fry for 1 minute.

3. Add broth and water; bring to a boil. Add watercress and carrots. Reduce heat to low and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in oil and pepper.

Makes 4-6 servings.
