they talked about this last year and nothing really happened. It's like so many top flight cornerbacks that get hype they are going to be a receiver to make use of their "big time skills" and at most they end up an occasional gimmick. Cannot imagine that Hester would have anything near to the consistency you need from a fantasy wideout.

Always interesting to see the news that comes out of mini camps... He must not be doing to well at DB???

There's a difference this time. This isn't exactly the same as Champ Bailey trying out at WR. He didn't show much at CB, why not try him out at WR, see if he can make some plays? :D

And this move is gonna make Rex Grossman be a solid QB...how??? I'll admit to not knowing enough about Hester to say whether or not it'll be a good move. But what's the use of adding more speed to the WR corps (Berrian is a burner as well, isn't he?) when the problem is the guy who throws the football?

This move and the thought process behind it (speed...speed...SPEED!) reeeeeks of Al Davis' philosophy.

Reminds me too much of Desmond Howard. He could do it, but has anyone done it lately?

With the success Furrey had making the switch, it doesn't surprise me if more teams try something similar.

The difference here is that Furrey was a WR that converted to CB or S in StL after a few years of not getting playing time at WR, then converted back to WR in Det. Not exactly the same thing.
