Duchess Jack
I expect its going to be Carter over Jarrett. You buggers have been raving over him since he came into the league. What do you expect out of him/them this year? What news is coming out of the local papers?
PSULions
I don't think we are going to know until camp breaks at the end of August. My best guess is that Carter has all the opportunity to step up his game as the guy opposite SS and early indications are that he is doing well based on mini-camp. Jarrett had some positive remarks about some very nice catches that he has made too, but as a rookie... he has much to learn and I will expect to start the season as DC as the #2 guy with Jarrett getting plenty of opportunity to play as the #3 guy and have an impact on offense. Drew signed his one-year tender so this is a money year for him and if he emerges to be a threat, he will get paid, by the Panthers or another team and a will stay the #2 all season. Should he not impress, I would imagine Jarrett will gradually steal playing time from him so he will get more experience for next year and the Panthers will let DC walk. Definitely a make it or break it year for Drew, both for the Panthers #2, but has a guy that would like to have a long and productive player in the NFL. Check back in a few weeks when more information will trickle out on the WR situation.
