The official Bucs website is the only site reporting he failed his physical so it would make sense for you not to know. He was hurt most of last season with a shoulder injury. Must not have healed. Apparently Rice was pretty upset about it when talking to reporters calling Gruden every name in the book. The sports radio guys thought it pretty lame of the Bucs to do, because they knew he failed his physical a while ago, but waited til the start of training camp to cut him. Its more like cut because Adams was signed. That's totally unrelated to training camp starting. Its all about leveraging both players. Adams to sign because Rice is the starter. Then flip it around and make Rice take a paycut because Adams is the starter. Its all about the Benjamins.
